Some homeowners know they have problematic water but don’t know what to do about it.  Particularly handy homeowners go to home improvement stores to see if they can solve the problem themselves. While in a Lowes store these customers were interacting with a Lowes employee and the employee mentioned they partner with a company to consult on professional water treatment. They also mentioned that when dealing with water it is a good idea to get a professional opinion before purchasing equipment that may or may not work for their specific water conditions.  Almost all the Wisconsin Lowes locations partner with Clean Water Center as their water treatment experts. After hearing what our project coordinator had to say the homeowners were equip with the knowledge, they needed to make an informed decision on what to do with their water. They decided that professional treatment was what they wanted and an AOE-1354 was installed in the basement of their home along with a spin-down sediment filter to keep large sand like pieces from getting into the home.

Randy, our service manager, was at the home here in Markesan because the homeowner was having issues with their current system leaking.  The unit was an older unit and she decided it was probably time to replace the treatment equipment versus replacing it.  The water had a very high hardness level.  Randy was able to set her up with an EVR-1054.  Randy was able to get there within the week to get her set up with the new equipment. 

We had a customer reach out because they had an old, outdated water softener that was not working like it should anymore. Knowing it was older the customer decided it was the best just to replace the system. We sent out one of our project coordinators to test the water and see what works best for the home.  After some water testing and checking out the set up, we went over some options with the homeowner. They decided on the EVR water softener with our maintenance plan. Now the customer has peace of mind that will service the system once a year and have a lifetime warranty! 

The homeowner contacted the Clean Water Center to see what could be done about scaling on faucets and orange staining in their home in Wild Rose, WI. A project coordinator came out to the house to test the water and determined that the water was hard, and that the iron levels were quite high. The project coordinator went over test results and water treatment options with the homeowner. They also discussed the Clean Water Center's maintenance plan for our AOE water softeners, as well as the option to add on an iron filter to the maintenance plan. The customer then decided to purchase an iron filtration system and a water softener with the maintenance plan add-on. Now there is no more scaling or iron staining in the home, and the homeowner can enjoy the comfort of knowing that both their new softener and iron filter will be well-maintained by the Clean Water Center's team every year.

Mr. and Mrs. H. owned their cabin/property in Amherst Junction for years because it had been in the family for so long. However, it has always been the up North cabin and water treatment was lower on the priority list for a long period of time. Mr. and Mrs. H. had begun a full remodel on the home and were installing new fixtures, appliances, plumbing, etc. and it was this change that caused them to look into water treatment. They did not want their new investments to turn orange and be built up with white crustiness from the hardness in the water, so they gave us a call. After scoping their plumbing situation and testing water, it was found that the best fit was our more advanced EVR water softener. With them living in Pennsylvania, taking advantage of the WIFI capabilities and having a vacation mode was absolutely necessary and the EVR provides such features. Now their new fixtures and appliances are being protected and Mr. H.'s hair is no longer turning orange when he showers at his cabin.
